Drupal as an Extranet (Part II)

About six months ago we started a project to use Drupal as a client extranet site. Now we're at the point where it actually seems to be working.

It took a careful selection of modules and configuration to get what we were after, but I think we may be ready for testing outside of our small group. I'll be contacting a few people about this, and when we think it's ready, we will provide a tutorial on how we set it up.

Drupal is definitely a powerful platform, and we're enjoying working with it.

Hello! I'm studying Drupal

Hello! I'm studying Drupal for extranet too. But I thinks it's going to be a basic "document approval tool", where a client log in the extranet (client's area) and see some Jobs. The format of the job is going to be JPG, GIF, PNG, DOC or SWF, and the client could request changes, correct anything or provide new information.
I read various articles, but in almost cases people adopted the extranet as a "mini-site" (multisites module). Did you done this too? If you can provide some clues about modules or tips on how you did with Drupal... just for me to start...
Thanks!
Marco Moreira.
